Bryan Anderson jumpstarted this podcast with a pirate radio (read: cruddy audio but earnest) but it lapsed when he left the Sacramento Bee. The Bee's editorial staff picked it up in 2020 and built out into full interviews with analysis. Always good to hear local journalism at work.
I appreciated the episode on schools closing for the fall. The discussion was informed and very real. Thank you
The episode about the Darrell Richards case is full of mis-information and falsehoods. A portion of the story is told by someone who makes blanket assumptions with no facts. Pathetic.
I had hopes for this. But it is typical of the Sacramento Bee. Poor production quality, rampant bias, and uninformed rambling. With some many good sources for news, particularly California news I’d encourage you to stay away.
The subject matter and guests are good but the sound quality is so poor that it’s impossible to give 5 stars.
