And her story can’t possibly be real … can i... more

I have thoroughly enjoyed your series, especially being a nurse, AND a mother and grandmother, but Bob Buckley left us hanging…..”on the next episode,” after episode 13, more than a year ago. Bob, it’s time for an update! What’s going on with Caitlin?
If you’ve not listened, you should! It’s touching to hear about this family’s journey and how strong they ALL are. Bob Buckley and Chris Weaver have done an amazing job with this piece.
Love this podcast!! It really puts things in perspective. Well told and well written. It’s the best ever!!
It is so incredibly sad to me that not only is this poor family going through these struggles, but also how many charlatans gave them false hope along the way. I am truly sorry traditional medicine was not able to cure such a devastating injury, but shame on the people willing to take their money and time and talk down about the healthcare professionals and cause the family to question the treatment and care they received. Many things were not offered or suggested by physicians because they have... more
I just can’t stop thinking about this family. I live close in SC and I'm not even sure how I heard about The Littles. From every single angle- there’s a piece of the story that resonates. Caitlin’s chronic pain, her change in upbeat personality to withdrawn but not her diligence. Her relationships with her siblings and how this affects them. The family dynamic- the toll on the marriage- the toll on each individual and all those who are close to them and serve them. The mother/daughter/father/s... more
Thank you to the Littles for sharing your story.
The story of the brain injury and subsequent struggles of this young lady and her family is at turns fascinating, heartbreaking and inspiring. What I appreciate is the thoughtful, intelligent and compassionate — but honest and real —approach of all the family members, and the reporting on them. more
Being a Greensboro native, a Fox 8 fan, and the parent of a daughter taught by Jennifer Little —- you could say I’m a “little” biased about this series. Video and podcast. However, Bob Buckley has done an amazing job covering Caitlin’s journey and the impact it has on her family. more
