美國總統特朗普於星期一（3月3日）宣布，再向中國加徵10%關稅，與上次向中國加徵10%關稅，僅相隔一個月。
而中國則在特朗普加關稅後，向美國部分的進口商品加徵關稅，又將部分美國公司列入出口管制管控名單作反擊。
一星期間，全球地緣政治經濟格局再起變化，香港首富李嘉誠亦親身上陣，出售巴拿馬港口業務予美國企業。

（直播回顧）財政司司長陳茂波今日發表新一份財政預算案，陳茂波表示今個財政年度的赤字達872億元，同時亦宣布來年政府全面凍薪。
政府收入繼續下降，去年賣地收入只有135億元。在財赤之下，陳茂波指將會加大發債額度，同時間增加機場離境稅、告票、公路隧道幹線收費等各項政府收費。

新加坡於周二（18日），迎來他們新任總理兼財長黃循財的首份財政預算案，其2024財政年度稅收超出預期，成功滅赤，當中以企業利得稅錄得顯著增長；同時間宣布一系列的派錢政策。
香港方面，陳茂波下周三將會發表財政預算案，近日的政圈消息可見，今次的財政預算案未有太大新意，亦未見有新招進行減赤。
而值得留意的是，新加坡過去三年的合計的赤字折合大約9百多億港元，亦未及香港政府一年的赤字數目，今集《財經自由講》為你進行兩地比較與今後局勢分析。
