TEXT US +1 250-241-8866. Welcome to the Business for Builders podcast! My name is Max and I am a qualified carpenter and residential home builder. I'm an entrepreneur and the CEO of Smith & Sons Remodeling Experts North America. Those that operate or are involved in the construction sector running a general contracting or trade services business, learned and we're taught on the job and on the fly. Unfortunately, that training process taught us very little about business development. The Business for Builders podcast has been set up to provide business building information and insight for general contractors who are looking to fill the gaps and remove the deficiencies and vulnerabilities in their business. Our goal is to help you increase your business intelligence whilst you continue to run your business. Subjects relating to Self Improvement, Financial Management, Strategic Planning and Business Development are the focus because as construction practitioners, this is our blind spot!
