The smartest Buffy and Angel podcast!
Very interesting breakdown. Love Buffy and this is a unique lense to see the story through
This is my absolute favorite podcast on writing. Lisa M Lilly dissects every episode of Buffy and it’s like I get to experience them all over again while learning about writing. I enjoy her insights on the show, and how she often talks about things I never would have thought of. I’ve learned so much from this show, and I have often listened to an episode more than once, when I’ve needed to think more about a particular writing topic. Definitely worth a listen!
Finally someone who understands the purpose of Xander as a character and there is no bashing of Spike, or Angel. Just the art of storytelling!
(Though I wish there were clips from the show.)
This podcast is amazing even if you aren’t a writer or if you are a writer and haven’t seen Buffy. Love the way Lisa walks you through the episodes and her perspective on them. I was a big fan when Buffy first aired, but Lisa helps me appreciate it more. I really love how every episode is so carefully and thoughtfully prepared. It would be easy for one person discussing a show to be boring, but Lisa’s preparation and presentation make the show super engaging. Highly recommend!
