這顯示出了某種造成男性孤獨的當代困境，也就是困在「Provider」(供給者)的角色。這種角色在過去賦予男性身份價值，但當外部條件改變，經濟能力不再由單一性別壟斷、婚姻不再必需。供給者的角色不再給予身份價值，困於其中的男性也不知道離開後還能是誰。

以下是聽完這集的一些心得，覺得可以換個角度看看。
法幣持續貶值是個長期現象，因為各國政府不斷增發貨幣。有錢人會想辦法把手中的法幣轉換成優質資產，隨著法幣貶值，他們的資產相對更值錢。從這個角度來看，法幣的價值逐漸下滑，而台灣的基本薪資卻完全跟不上這種貶值速度，這也是買不起房的重要原因之一。
我們應該著眼於提升自己的收入，並爭取獲得更多優質資產，而非單靠政府（已經不指望了），雖然政府確實有需要改進的地方，但只要全球經濟持續增長，這種趨勢很難逆轉。
