I feel like the hosts miss a lot of subtle things that happen in certain episodes. Of course, as a listener, I might disagree with some of their opinions as well. I also think they miss a huge component of being trauma informed when it comes to Veronica, her choices, and how she self-protects. I know at the end of the day, it is just a TV show and it doesn’t have to be that deep. Doing (another) VM rewatch and I’m glad I found this podcast to accompany it. Meg and Sam have genuine love and tenderness for the series, and they offer balanced insight and humor. Just great 😊
I’ve tried other VM podcasts and they weren’t as good. I felt like other podcasts just recap what happens and then move on to the next scene without them discussing how they feel. Especially big iconic VM scenes. I love how this podcast digs in to every episode and discuss all the tiny details. You can really tell they love the show but aren’t afraid to call it out either.
