I don’t live in Portland. I live across the country in Birmingham, AL where I was lucky enough to find this church. I have been listening and following Bridgetown since the unfortunate event of COVID, practicing their daily meditation podcasts, watching their sermons, and worshiping with them in my living room. The format often features exploratory teaching, with a strong emphasis on grace, community, and formation over mere doctrinal correctness. This collection suggests a thoughtful, lyrically crafted approach to spirituality that appeals to li... more
