Amazing podcast, Dom and Yan really do their research and know their stuff. As someone who is wanting to learn more about the bands I listen to daily (and have been listening to for years now), this podcast is exactly what I’ve been missing in life! Can’t get enough!

This podcast is all I can ask for, yan and dom are such great hosts and they knew their history and facts. I got into deathcore in 06, and being from la I used to see we are the end and her demise my rise play backyard shows, so it’s cool to see you guys talking about this scene.

  • Much needed Metal Podcast

This was amazing to listen to. I opened up for Float Fave Down, Aegeon, & My Bitter End & TLTSOL on that tour , must’ve been like 2012. Ron was the scariest guy I’d ever seen, but was so nice. He had lost his voice the show before, their backtracks wouldn’t work, and man when I tell you they STILL absolutely crushed it. One of the best times of my life .

JOSH GODDARD (ex-SUICIDE SILENCE) | The Man Behind The Mask
Q: Were you still listening to metal at all?
I started listening to guys like Wayne Shorter and Miles Davis and Coltrane but didn't really get back into metal until Rick hit me up a few years ago.
JOSH GODDARD (ex-SUICIDE SILENCE) | The Man Behind The Mask
Q: Do you recall if even in the recording, Mitch was still like, it's OK. You remember if it was like, you're good, it's going to be fine?
Mitch was very excitable and liked the idea of me being in the band more than the actual execution of it.
ALEX ERIAN (DESPISED ICON)
Q: What made Ills of Modern Men special for you?
By the time we were in the studio recording, we had been touring the US for three years already, and the context had changed the scene for Deathcore.
ALEX ERIAN (DESPISED ICON)
Q: Could you talk about your pride for Montreal and its culture?
It's very important for me and my bandmates to showcase where we're from and achieve some sort of individuality through it.
REV3RENT (JOSHUA BAILEY GUARD)
Q: How do you see that?
I think it's hilarious. Like the petition, I'm like, oh my God.
