When it’s demonstrably bad for women, and worse yet, very young women and children.
I was intrigued, not knowing much about Indian matchmaking. But then a few episodes in they talked about a man who had a crooked spine as if he was disposable trash, and not as a human being. I hope you rethink how you treat others. Is Indian matchmaking culture really that shallow? Unfortunately I think this show proves it is. Very sad how humans treat other humans.
Being that I am a home-grown Canadian gal my knowledge about this topic is very limited. To be welcomed into the world of arranged marriage by folks with such lovely voices has been both insightful and enjoyable.
Ah loved this show… a walk down memory lane to the time of my own arranged marriage. So many cringey stereotypes that brought a huge smile to my face. My to be husband’s first email to me opened with “To be given to the understanding that…” 😁 we still email each other that way
Listen to this if you are Indian and you want to laugh at the great Indian arranged marriage or if you are not Indian and are curious about the whole darn thing!
