I listened to the OG Bottle Service with my first and now pregnant with my second and I love “2nd time around”! Hearing Sarah’s thoughts and feelings around it all is a breath of fresh air and I enjoy getting to the next week in my pregnancy and kicking the week off with the podcast! Thanks to Sarah for sharing it all and bumping along with us!

  • Exactly What the Doc Calls for

I bumped along with Sarah her second time around and went back to listen to all her original pods. Hearing her articulate the same feelings and emotions I was having in a fun, honest, and raw way helped me get through some tough spots of pregnancy. I’ve recommended it to all my newly preggo friends and even had my husband listen! Thanks so much Sarah!

  • Love the commentary, but double check some content

I’ve loved following along with Sarah as I go through my own pregnancy! Great to get some insights into what to expect and to hear more about her experience (which has been very different from mine!).

I would give 5 stars, but dropped to 4 stars because of some of the controversial content she shares from Emily Oster’s books around alcohol (Doctors and the ACOG still say none due to the spectrum disorder risks). She also fails to flag this as controversial.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Help us Sleep! Crib Transitions, Daylight Savings & More with HeySleepyBaby
Q: At what age would you like consider moving them to a floor bed?
You can really do any age. In the Montessori method and like Montessori circles, they'll start from birth.
Help us Sleep! Crib Transitions, Daylight Savings & More with HeySleepyBaby
Q: Can we actually talk about like what some of that baby proofing looks like in your room if you're going to do a floor bed?
I would limit shelving anything that could be like, you know, climbed on or pulled down. You want to definitely limit a lot of that stuff. The other thing that's a really huge hazard is blind cords. So you want to make sure that those are way out of reach, wires, outlet covers, things like that.
Week 31: Free Falling
Q: What's your birth plan?
Sarah hopes for an easy delivery and wants to be heavily medicated.
Week 31: Free Falling
Q: How do you women work throughout their pregnancies?
Sarah acknowledges that working while pregnant can be challenging, especially without maternity leave.
Week 31: Free Falling
Q: Will you continue to make baby related episodes after baby comes?
Yes, she plans to continue the podcast and do check-ins after the baby.
