  • Love it

Love yall deeply but it’s actually almost unlistenable to hear yall call him “kale.” it’s in the back of the book, it’s pronounced “Kay-all” I.e. like the word chaos but with an L on the end. Do you pronounce “chaos” as “case”? His name isn’t kale. Almost enough to make me not listen 😭

  • Smart Fangirling

If I’m not listening to an audiobook, I’m listening to my imaginary besties talk about my favorite books. Jac and Amy combine genuine literary analysis with laugh-out-loud commentary on fantasy romance. As English grads and writers, they dig into character development and deeper themes without being too serious- I’m desperately waiting for them to tackle all of SJM’s work (TOG👑). They’re the perfect mix of smart analysis and unashamed book fangirling.

  • ✨My Favorite Podcast✨

Found you guys a few years ago when I was rereading SJM and had no one to talk to about it. Now I listen religiously and I’ve really been enjoying the ToG literary analysis! I don’t have Instagram so I’m not able to submit any listener thoughts but I always try to catch you if you’re live on TikTok! 💕

This podcast feels like a slumberparty with your best girlfriends. There is no room for judgement or hate, only pure love toward other females. And the best part? You discuss boys and everything about them without having to tone it down. I love that Jac and Amy put a bit of personal experiences in each episode, making the book analysis feel more relatable to real life, cause lets face it - we all want to travel to Velaris and we all want us a nice sandwich with Cass and Az (sorry Hunt, Rhys, Row... more

Not as much as with Book Two, but I always look for ways to tie stories together and enhance character development.
Abigail Owen on The Things Gods Break: Rewriting the Titans and Redefining Fate
Q: How difficult was it for you as the author to balance the power of allowing your characters to suffer versus avoid that suffering?
It's a very human response to any kind of drama; character arcs are deeply personal and influenced by my own experiences.
Hannah Grace Interview: From Icebreaker to Holiday Ever After
Q: What inspired you to write a holiday romance?
I think everyone loves holiday romance; there's just something so automatically joyful about holiday romance.
Interview with Analeigh Sbrana: Justice, Identity, and Romance in Lore of the Tides
Q: What do you hope readers take away from Lore's journey?
I hope that everyone's able to really take away hope, and to know that, you know, what's that term, like, what's that thing, like, where if there's like a catastrophe, like, look for the helpers.
The Hunger Games a Literary Analysis (Part 1): Katniss, Peeta, and Its Enduring Themes
Q: How did you hold up reading this book given our current circumstances?
It was harder to read the next two books because of prior knowledge of the events, but I still appreciated the depth of the characters and themes.
