I really enjoy how the hosts discuss books while looking at the various plots through the lens of a Millennial headspace. I particularly liked the episodes on “The Shining” and “The Yellow Wallpaper”. A must listen for any avid reader.
Thoughtful analysis and insight. Always on-topic, no rambling or fifteen minute tangents about “that one time we all did that thing” like so many other podcasts fall into. Critique is eloquent and well-put. Far and above so many other book review creators.
Wonderful presentation. Having read two of these books in my early teens (“House on the Borderland” and “Earth Abides”), it’s great to see they are still being read and talked about. Thanks.
Great balance of narrative and dialogue. I feel like I’m in the room with them, but they’re not at all wasting my time. The opening re-telling of the first book hooked me and caught me up on all the plot essentials. Great questions and answers thereafter.
This is the ideal book club!
