At the end of every episode I find myself thinking that they need a Reform, Reconstructionist and Renewal rabbi on this podcast. This is a podcast of 3 modern orthodox or conserva-dox people attempting to be the authoritative voices of “modern” Judaism while ignoring a huge chunk of who makes up modern Judaism. I find that in every discussion, the speak as though liberal Judaism doesn’t count or is somehow inherently bad, evil or beneath them. Major blind spot.
Uneven. Stream of consciousness, talking about “feeling” Jewish today from a left wing, Diaspora Jew perspective. Could use more depth and balanced analysis.
This is a great resource to listen to a vast collection of ideas and points of view. It’s informed conversations to help bring Jewish thoughts and ideas into daily listening. Great cast chemistry with a blend of heavier topics and light hearted entertainment.
Interesting topic ...first time listener... you guys have to work on the volumes of your mics. Some speakers were so low, I had to raise the volume and when I did other speakers were so loud my ear drums popped... consequently I could not enjoy this episode. I'll try again but it may be a reason not to listen unfortunately. Thxs

A weekly discussion series digging into Jewish life in the modern era, blending candid personal storytelling, literature and Torah study with contemporary culture and community issues. Episodes commonly tackle antisemitism, Jewish identity, interfaith dynamics, Israeli–diaspora relations, and the evolving role of religious practice in daily life, all with a mix of humor, vulnerability, and hard questions. Notable is the trio-led dynamic—three hosts who challenge each other with diverse viewpoints, often inviting guests to broaden the conversation around culture, politics, and spirituality.
The show stands out for its candid, sometimes irreverent tone, grounding heavyweight topics in lived experience, ritual, and Jewish communal resilience.... more
