I’ve tried listening to 3 different (recent) episodes from these guys. I had high hopes, but unfortunately it’s like listening to a person with the attention span of a goldfish. They can’t seem to go more than 2 sentences without making a joke or being sarcastic, which completely breaks any flow of discussion of the topic at hand. My first time listening in forever was the Dept Q episode and somehow they had not 1 but 2 random far-left rants in the first 10 min supporting the losing side of 80/20 issues - hating JK Rowling and everything she touches for being a “TERF” and hating police (ACAB) plus blaming them for rioters getting violent in the 2025 LA riots.

Was literally listening to a different Star Trek podcast (I recommend fellow bannermen check out Greatest Gen on Max Fun. Very similar vibes with delightful and insightful commentary. When my feed updated and the DS9 episode showed up, initially I suspected a temporal anomaly. But in fact it was real!
