Tremendous show with experienced business leaders that provide insight into board level leadership, decision making and making a difference that matters.
Really enjoying listening to this podcast. I’d love to see some exploration on how those living in cities /areas other than Melb and Syd can break into ASX listed or larger company board positions. Also age diversity and what skills are becoming more sought after outside of the typical finance, law. We’ve seen an increase in customer, digital, people expertise but it’s still emerging that people from those backgrounds are found on boards.
Absolutely brilliant- a conversation about sport but directly translatable to the challenge of gender diversity in business.
A great insight to getting started in board roles. It would be good to know where these NED roles are generally advertised for a few reasons: helping to see what is out there and what boards are looking for but also to provide another avenue for exploring what might interest me. Looking forward to the next episode.
