Great high energy podcast for fans of board games. I love the short format where only a few games and one topic is usually covered. Keeps the discussion focused and never drags. Updating my comments on audio as it seems as of 2023, audio imbalance has been worked out. Annie’s comes through at the same level as Crystals now and makes for a much more enjoyable listening experience.
Ep. 182: Im out. more
Great high energy podcast for fans of board games. I love the short format where only a few games and one topic is usually covered. Keeps the discussion focused and never drags. Only criticism is that audio balance has always been an issue. Intro/outright is really loud compared to the regular conversation. Crystals mix has always been clearer and louder, Ambie’s mic always sounds a little muffled and lower volume than Crystal.
They don’t just provide awesome board game reviews, they’re also actively supporting inclusiveness in the board game community.
I only just discovered BGB and I’ve already blitzed through 25 episodes! I love it all - wonderful content, Ambie’s giggle, laughing at the outtakes - I feel like we’ve all been friends forever :) thanks so much and don’t stop!!! xox
