  • Excellent Podcast

In-depth reviews from a player’s perspective on a variety of board and card games. Their reviews are provided via a play-through analysis recorded immediately after playing that week’s game. • Board but never Bored

The podcast is a great listen for not only reviews of boardgames, presented in a relaxed and in-depth manner that give you the feel of the game from several view points, but also for interviews of many boardgame luminaries providing a fascinating glimpse behind the curtain.

The interviews are pretty in-depth and likely to be of significant value to would-be designers. Audio quality and editing is significantly better than the majority of longer-established and better-funded podcasts. By quality of editing I am particularly referring to episode length and content-focus - there is light-hearted banter but far from the usual self-indulgence t... more
