With a lot of questions coming in around getting members more engaged, seeing fewer subs, and chapter culture, we discuss the opportunity and strategy to use at this pivotal time of year.
We are back with a Business Matters episode and we discuss how sometimes things can get a bit crazy and you need to make decisions on time and priority.
In this week's Business Matters we answer a submitted question about how to fix your reputation in BNI when you have dropped the ball with a referral.
This week’s question is: Which is better—one chapter with 40 members, or two chapters with 20 members each?

Confession: I didn’t like CEU’s because they often didn’t feel
meaty and, probably for that reason, were boring. Then someone recommended this podcast. It not only made CEU’s feel worthwhile, it helped me actually understand BNI. Instead of feeling like I had a list of random tasks I was supposed to do each week, I began to understand the logic of it all much better.
Our Bni group lovers your podcast and personally I am very grateful for all the advice you give. I’ve worked very hard to not look for a referral from anybody or everybody. I’ve only been a member for 9 months but after listening to a bunch of your podcasts I’m one of the top referral givers on our group and I work hard at it. I’m approaching the 5th anniversary of my first BNI meeting. To be honest, it took a couple of years for me to get in the groove with the CEUs. After llsteneing to a about a dozen different BNI related podcasts, and TPOO is clearly the gold standard.
I don’t agree with, make use of, or fully track with the thought process behind EVERY point Tim makes (that would be troublesome, wouldn’t it?), but the overwhelming majority of topics covered, activities suggested, and points made are ON POINT.

Great podcast just like All the rest you share. More BNI members have to listen to our podcasts and continue to develop and grow, specially when it comes to business etiquette. Shopping for best price without thinking of members is what I have heard you say… furious about caring and givers gain mentality. Anyways. Great nuggets and information every BNI member should listen to. Thank you Tim
