I just love your effort make me wanna do so much in this unexplored or neglected part of medicine
Your lecture literally saved me from failing my test today. I learned much more from your podcast than from my professor. You’re awesome, Blood Bank Guy.
Great learning tool
Joe's podcasts and website contributed to about 70% of my ability to get an A in my blood bank course for my MLT program. Clear explanations presented in a simple, easy to understand way. Thank you Joe!
Please do these videos for all fields in pathology!!!!!!! I promise I will watch every single one of them (at least 8 times each!).
I am the blood bank supervisor at my local hospital where, after 15 years of not performing Ab ID, we have deiced to bring the antibody ID back in house. The videos on antibody ID’s has really helped me explain the process and functionality of panels. I have even suggested that some of my employees view this video as a tutorial
This is a great resource for students. Check out website as well, it's full of useful information.
I'm using Dr. Chaffin's lectures to supplement my current rotation in the blood banking and transfusion medicine and I can't say enough good things about the quality and effectiveness of his lectures. His lectures are lectures are far better than my run on sentences!
I'm a Medical Technology student preparing for the ASCP exam. The material provided by Dr. Chaffin is far more comprehensive than that provided by my program instructor. This is a great studying tool and I will be sharing it with all my classmates. Thank you Dr. Chaffin for making these materials available!
I am a student in a Clinical Lab Sciences program and this podcast has been extremely helpful in reviewing important concepts from class in a concise, fun, and understandable format. Dr. Chaffin has a very pleasant voice, and the slides are crisp and clean. My only complaint is there aren't very many topics covered. Please, make more podcasts!
Thanks a lot for explaining BloodBank easier than my professor.
Wow! This is loaded with useful information. Thorough, organized and easy to follow. Great voice. I will go to the website for handouts and look forward to future podcasts. Thank you BBG!
