Every time they hit a movie I could care less about it ends up being my new favorite episode. Thanks guys, keep them coming!
A great addition to the bad*-movie podcast genre.
*although, as they clarify in the intro, this is a podcast about movies that did badly .
They cover the famous bombs, the forgotten bombs, and the movies you loved and didn’t realize were bombs. Jon and Ian give every movie a fair chance, are they are just a couple of pleasant dudes to hang out with for an hour.
my favorite movie podcast. hits the exact perfect spot between acknowledging a film’s flaws & still acknowledging that something doesn’t have to be technically proficient to be fun. and vice versa! generally takes a good-natured and positive position on films the public may not love. also, regular great tv recommendations.
Jon and Ian leverage their experience to provide intelligent, unpretentious and relatable reviews with useful, well-researched background on the films’ production and reception. The podcast’s simple and effective format, the hosts’ easy banter, impressive and individualized episode soundtracks and hilarious voiceovers make for a bingeable catalog. Love everything these guys are doing and get psyched whenever there’s a new release.
Fantastic podcast. Didnt expect to enjoy this as much as I did.
