  • Good story; ad placement v disruptive!

Interesting story but somebody needs to learn how to edit/place ads. 20 mins into an episode and twice already an ad (the same one) has burst in DURING someone’s sentence. Early on I figured maybe someone was figuring out the kinks but it’s consecutive episodes now - hard to listen to and disrespectful to people that told you their stories to interrupt their narratives so abruptly, over and over.

  • Another great story

Another excellent and well produced podcast from Ryan. It’s powerful hearing the raw, personal stories behind the headlines that dominated that dreadful summer. I can’t begin to imagine what it was like for those who lived through it. I stayed at the beautiful Binna Burra Lodge a couple of times and still remember the man who would speak to guests at dinner each night.
