I grew in the US where my parents taught and spoke to me in Mandarin but not Taiwanese even though they and my relatives mostly speak to each other in Taiwanese! So grateful for this podcast - everything is well-paced and easy to absorb. Finally a clear understanding to phrases I’ve been hearing my whole life!
This is amazing please do not stop making new contents. I’ve learned so much from this podcasts! 😊
從小聽不懂台語,高中才開始在生活中硬學台語的我痛哭流涕
I bought the Short Takes book to learn Taiwanese and this podcast is great as an addition to that. As a Taiwanese who live in London and can speak Mandarin and English fluently with a little bit of an understanding of basic Taiwanese language, these medium are such great ways for to me learn this language and also learn more about the culture as well.
