  • Protestant Heresies

It's frustrating and disappointing when Mr. Hanegraaff does not point out obvious Protestant misunderstandings and heresies concerning scripture, baptism, salvation, theosis and Christ's ancient 2000 yr old still active Church. Why leave protestant callers and listeners believing we won't be judged for how we try (but fail) to follow Christ 's Commandments and expanded *moral teachings? And the nuances of His saving grace, given to us as we fail. Are we striving to follow the Commandments and ... more

  • Insights to help Christian growth

I’ve listened to this show as early as 1997. I ran errands for my job and I happened upon this radio show and it was early in my Christian growth. It has provided years of insight and clarity. A true God given thing in my earthly walk.

    Highly recommend!

  • BAM is essential

I have listened to Hank Hanegraaff for over 20 years and own several of his best books- including The Complete Bible Answer Book Collector’s Edition, Has God Spoken, and The Apocalypse Code. Hank and the CRI ministry helped to rescue me from dispensational theology and escape the trappings of the IFBC. Hank really has a knack for explaining difficult passages and helping you to learn how to read the Bible for all it’s worth. I agree with Hank 99% of the time.

  • Humans

A departure from Bible Answer Man wisdom. Genes may load the gun, but lifestyle pulls the trigger. Technocratic medicine wants us dumb, numb, sick and disconnected from God and ourselfs, so we forget we're perfectly designed by God to heal - body, mind and soul if allowed the proper inputs, as God intended, and not poisoned and /or augmented to death. Never to transhumanist eugenicist selling earthly utopia. Impossible to get past the opening of part 1 unless possibly you're blind to the sick ca... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Listening Carefully to God’s Word, and Q&A
Q: Is prophecy still active today, and if so, what form does it take?
Prophecy today is understood as forth-telling to strengthen, encourage, and build up the church, rather than foretelling future events, with an emphasis that God does not reveal new information about the distant future.
Listening Carefully to God’s Word, and Q&A
Q: Is belief in the eternal nature of Christ as equal with the Father essential for salvation?
Hank emphasizes that the central question is identifying who Jesus is, affirming that Christ's divinity is foundational to salvation and that denying it undermines the gospel.
Memorizing the Word of God, and Q&A
Q: Hi Hank, what's your take on whether God puts it into our hearts to respond to Him or if it's purely our own decision?
The Bible presents both creation's light and the Holy Spirit wooing us; we have responsibility to respond to the invitation, but ultimate ability comes from being created to respond and the Spirit's drawing rather than a purely autonomous human act.
The Fossil Record, and Q&A
Q: I'm witnessing to a Muslim man who is open to reading scriptures, but we had a heated discussion about the Gospel of John, particularly the terms 'son' and 'begotten.' How would you explain the distinction in those Greek terms and the implications for the deity of Christ?
The distinction isn't primarily about the Greek words; it's about understanding how Muslims view divine fatherhood and the implications of ontological terms. Jesus is described as God the Son in essence, not merely as a created being, and the Trinity is expressed within the Godhead in a way that maintains monotheism while acknowledging personal distinctions among Father, Son, and Spirit.
Q&A: Postmodernism, Deity of Christ, and Spiritual Attacks
Q: How should I understand the Olivet Discourse's statement that 'this generation will not pass away'?
Context matters: Jesus spoke to his disciples about events surrounding Jerusalem's destruction, not the ultimate end of the world. Reading Scripture with Scripture clarifies that much of the language is apocalyptic imagery applied to a specific historical fulfillment in Jerusalem and the temple, rather than a universal timeline for the end times.
