I really love the engagement and love BGMania gives, the podcast have given me a wider perspective on games and music I haven’t been aware of prior to the moment of starting to listen to the podcast. Much love and a highly recommended podcast, 5 stars ✨
I’ve been listening for years, and in its current form, this is the best VGM podcast out right now. Bryan is a great host and the show has really excelled since Bedroth has become a cohost. There is a ton of content and the different formats of the shows keep things fresh, from full fledged themed episodes to the shorter B-sides and radio hours. I really enjoy the musical reviews and spotlights as they act like game reviews with lots of good music playing throughout. I travel long distance for w... more
I’m enjoying this podcast very much, please keep it up! Since you avoid repeating content, I’m constantly discovering new games and composers (for example I hadn’t heard of cuphead before and it is amazing music!) this is my go to podcast, I listen pretty much daily and highly recommend it.

A music-focused discussion show centered on video game soundtracks, exploring composers, games, and eras through theme-based episodes, track-by-track listens, and occasional long-form reviews. Regular segments include themed showcases, in-depth musical analyses, and a monthly radio-hour-style wrap-up that weaves together classics with contemporary releases. A notable strength is the enthusiastic, knowledge-rich banter between hosts, with periodic guest appearances, and a clear love for VGM diversity—from retro staples to modern scores—and a commitment to not repeating tracks. This mix makes it appealing for listeners who want deep appreciation of game music balanced with personal anecdotes and broad genre exploration.
