  • To all the Haters

Wonderfully insightful, witty and funny as ever, warm and inclusive. The tiddle wave of negative reviews is from people leaving bad faith ratings and opinions because they probably don't like themselves more than anything. A real shame but should not take away from this gem and what it has to offer.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Joke That Saved My Life (Featuring Guy Branum)
Q: When did you first realize that comedy was more than just something you did, but something that helped you stay alive?
It was a gradual awareness that humor carried strength, especially in college and among people who appreciated my voice; comedy became a way to endure and connect with others who share similar experiences.
I Am Not an AMPM Cup (Featuring Nicole Daniels)
Q: The conversation touched on parasocial dynamics and online harassment. What practical advice would you give listeners about engaging with fans while protecting their own wellbeing?
Set clear boundaries, don't engage with every comment, and seek legal or professional help when harassment crosses into doxxing or threats. Remember that the audience's perception is not a substitute for your own sense of self and safety.
I Am Not an AMPM Cup (Featuring Nicole Daniels)
Q: How do you balance your personal identity with the personas you perform, especially given public recognition and audience expectations?
I stay grounded by maintaining a small circle of trusted friends, setting screen-time boundaries, and keeping a clear distinction between the work and the person. It's a continual process of self-check-ins and creative experimentation while honoring my own needs.
I Am Not an AMPM Cup (Featuring Nicole Daniels)
Q: Nicole, thinking about the spectrum of characters you've created, what drew you to character work and when did you realize this could be a sustainable path creatively?
It started with childhood plays and morning announcements in school, then moved through day jobs that fed those characters. Turning to online video allowed me to craft a consistent world and build a following around these identities, showing that this kind of performance can be both healing and commercially viable.
THINK BIG B*TCH! (Featuring Nina Parker)
Q: How did you shift from a high-pressure, unpaid-internship culture to a career with agency over your own story and boundaries?
She recalls taking big risks in her 20s, quitting without a backup plan, and choosing to work with intention, surrounding herself with trusted peers and mentors, and using strategic networking to create opportunities while protecting her well-being.
