I wanted a rundown of the Louigi Mangione case from a legal point of view. I got that while listening to the first part of the ep, but then the host went on a rant about how women aren’t as funny as men and therefore naturally don’t make as good criminal defense lawyers. He acknowledged there’s a sexist system at play, but instead of acknowledging that and moving on he went on about how it actually makes sense because juries love funny lawyers and women simply aren’t as funny as men. There exists no podcast as good as this one. I don’t know why it doesn’t get more acclaim other than the fact that the man doesn’t want or need this gem to blow up. No one is funnier, stronger, or has the stories Lichtman has. This is the bear podcast you’ll ever hear.
