We need you and you know that’s the truth. Not many doing the truth like you. So, please- I need something to sip my coffee to at 5am so I can exercise and then be a sane-ish human. bless.
I only wish there was a companion podcast for the entire series. I’m still not done watching the final season because I can’t handle the idea of no more Better Things. Yes, I’m funny like that.
My most favorite introduction to any show, ever, was season 4 episode 1, Steady Rain. It’s a love letter to LA and to the home Sam shares with her daughters. I wish I could tell Pamela Adlon how much she means to me. I just love her so much. Her work Better Things has changed me as a person. The show made me stop and consider how the women in my own family treat each other, and my relationship with my mother. It hit me so hard I am obsessed with watching the series over and over. Pamela I just love you and your work so much. The episode Robin is my favorite, it was an ice pack to my balls.
I wish more than I should that the series didn’t end. I can... more

I love Better Things so much I am now rewatching it with my daughter. When I watched it the first time & realized I was watching the next to last episode of season 5 I started to cry & said to no one “I’m not ready”. And then I watched the final episode & literally cried through the whole thing. It was so spectacular! I walked around for days singing “always look on the bright side of life”. I believe there’s a good chance that from now on whenever I hear that song I will get fer klempt.
