Listened to this podcast all through surgical training in Australia and continuing to listen regularly as a fellow. I keep coming back to favourites and find myself sharing episodes with colleagues all the time. Engaging and up to date content with something for all stages of surgical careers.
I was an avid listener in residency and this podcast was an excellent source of learning materials as a resident. I also used their oral boards course and it was better than the more expensive courses! This podcast and their related products were undeniably instrumental in my success as a surgical resident. Now as a board certified general surgeon I still find useful information in their journal review episodes. Can’t speak highly enough of this podcast!
The AOSA series is an excellent addition to the podcast and encouraging to young surgeons unsure if there is a seat at the table for themselves. Thank you for the inclusion.
I appreciate the anatomy and procedures that this podcast makes available regarding ACS standards. It’s my expectation that voices on this podcast include women of color and trans and non-binary voices to the podcast. There are plenty of generalists and specialists who “fit the bill”. Give them a more central presence.
Content is excellent. However, that all of the content is read from a script gets boring. And, honestly, you all sound like you’d like to be somewhere else.
