Great to have the pod, wonderful guests, particularly Braves historian Sam Wallace. I would listen more often but for the host. He certainly makes his guests comfortable but he injects too much of his personal story and misses opportunities for context. The Sid Bream episode should have reminded listeners who Bream is, the era he played, etc without assuming a 40+ lifelong Braves fan was the listener.
I really like the Braves stuff but enough of the nascar interviews.
One of the best veteran stories. Thoroughly enjoyed “The Best I Could”.
I listen to several sports podcasts but this one is my favorite. Love all the guest interviews! Great job!
Always good to hear behind the scenes stories.
