  • A Must Listen!

The first three episodes of this podcast completely changed the way I think and answered questions that went unresolved for over a decade.

“How to Become an Individual” is essential listening for anyone on the quest to find their truth in this life.

So glad to see a new $10/month membership option on the website to access more audio courses and a guidebook! Thank you!

  • I haven’t enjoyed a podcast this much in a long time. The production is simple but the content is incredibly substantial. Having been out of the academic world for a long time, I really enjoyed listening to a lecture in which the topics are engaged deeply and also personally. I love hearing from a philosopher who believes that philosophy matters.

  • Thank you!

I just came to this podcast through a dawning interest in Kierkegaard. I've listened to two episodes, and I'm already in love. I haven't been this excited about a podcast in...well, I haven't ever been this excited about a podcast! Thank you so, so much for your generosity, and please continue!

  • The best philosophy podcast

This podcast leans spiritual for the person who approaches philosophy with the supposition philosophy should hinge on the purely logical. I think the first three episodes of this podcast articulate that mistake and discoloring of philosophy maybe best way I’ve ever heard from a living person. This podcast is a treasure to me. I beseech the professor for a podcast examining Simone Weil in the manner he does Kierkegaard. And in any case, to continue.

How a Celebrity Philosopher Changed History & Why He Was Forgotten: Emily Herring on Henri Bergson
Q: How do you feel about the cyclical nature of the anxieties surrounding mechanization and dehumanization?
As a historian of science, I think we might be cycling through a new era with similar themes rather than experiencing clear progress, as the conversation seems to resonate with past discussions.
How a Celebrity Philosopher Changed History & Why He Was Forgotten: Emily Herring on Henri Bergson
Q: What are the themes that have been emerging from your conversations about the book?
The idea of a philosopher celebrity is something that people find really interesting, especially since it's hard to imagine philosophers drawing large crowds like Bergson did.
Philosophy, Roomba, and Taco Carts: A Conversation with Chef Arturo Franco Camacho, Explorations, Ep. 5
Q: Could you tell us a bit about where you were born and what your childhood was like?
Franco reflects on growing up in a large family in Tijuana and how the kitchen was his comfort zone, filled with memories around food with his family.
