Three funny women telling the plots of films in a very satisfying way... adding their own queer theories (sometimes pretty out-there?!!)
So great. Miss Marple forever 🩵
Two things I love
These gals are amazing, insightful and genuinely funny. As a trans woman with a big yen for mystery fiction in all its forms, this seemed too good to be true! Gimme a call if you ever want to talk about strange and queer Holmes adaptations!!! Private Life anyone?
Okay. This is the 3rd podcast review I've ever posted. But listening to three British transfemme detective fiction lpvers as a non-binary lesbian who was OBSESSED with Agatha Christie and Dorothy L. Sayers as a kid (and listens to Shedunnit podcast without missing any episodes)...is just utterly and wonderfully delightful. Also? These ladies are nerrrdddsss 😍😍😍

A witty, pop-culture driven true-crime/ detective-genre discussion led by three trans-affirming hosts, who dissect film and TV adaptations through a LGBTQ+ lens. Episodes mix sharp cultural critique with playful banter as they unpack gender, power, and representation in classic and contemporary detective fiction, capping analysis with personal anecdotes from the hosts. Noteworthy is the trio's ongoing conversation about trans visibility in media, plus a knack for linking genre tropes to broader social conversations, which keeps conversations insightful yet entertaining for fans of crime-solving, film, and television.
