I found the Bat Chat podcasts a few days ago and am thoroughly enjoying it. I have been studying bats since the 1990’s as a elementary teacher. I hope to make a positive impact by teaching all of my second grade gifted students to be Bat Ambassadors through our year long study of chiroptera. My hope is that they will change the misconceptions and teach their children of the importance of bats. Great podcast on all things bat. I’m learning loads about the different species and works being undertaken to conserve them and boost populations. Guests are knowledgeable and engaging. Well done keep up good work, really looking forward to season 4.
A little late on finding this podcast but I have been such a big lover of bats. Iv know about the Bag Conversation Trust but only recently finally signed up as a member and doing research on the Bat Convention Trust website I found this podcast. I have learned so much already and has given me so much inspiration to want to do more for bats, love listening to the many different guests and learning about all the amazing things people are doing for amazing bats.
This is an excellent podcast; Steve has a great style of interviewing and has met with a wide range of speakers coming from different perspectives and expertise in the bat world.
