Hosted by JB Anderton, a child of the 1970s and life-long Batfan. This podcast looks back at the many incarnations of the Batman in the 1970s, including an in-depth look at DC's Batman and Detective Comics as well as his adventures on Saturday morning cartoons and Power Records stories, in order to discover what aspects of the character we know and love originated during the Bronze Age.

This has such potential, but then you has to start crying about Trump so now I’ll stop listening.

Great podcast very interesting. I will say the theme music intro goes on for wayyyy too long and when having guest stars in the podcast the mics are pretty bad and loud so I usually skip though although I’d be interested to hear them especially since they are long more in-depth discussions
The 1970s era of BATMAN tends to fall between two stools . It’s neither the Campy Crusader of the 1960s, nor the Frank Miller inspired Dark Knight of the 80s ( and beyond)...
But it’s my childhood era of BATMAN.
Mego Toys,Superfriends , Colorforms & Power Records kept the torch lit for Bat fans and is a worthy subject of this excellent podcast! Be nice to Bat Mite, though. He’s only trying to help!
