  • More BASS Radio.

Great show! Really enjoy listening to the pros and industry people. Only complaint is that one hour once a week is not enough! Thanks.

  • To much Phenix boat

1/3 of the show seems like a Phenix boat commercial, anglers who use Phenix boats get special attention, money for less quality content!

Thom is great, having different anglers on each week is fun, and taking about fantasy fishing is a bonus. Thanks for putting this show together each week!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 482 - Jason Christie, Hunter Shryock and Fisher Anaya
Q: What was your mindset going into the long run and the big gas expenditure to reach your fishing grounds?
Christie explains that he anticipated long runs and fuel costs, managing his stops strategically to maximize fishing time and maintain pressure, accepting the cost as part of pursuing the best possible bite windows.
Episode 483 - Hank Weldon, Michael Harlin and Cole Sands
Q: Hank, welcome back in, man. How are you?
Hank responds that he's doing well and discusses the Open structure and the math behind AOI qualification and how divisions interact with the EQs.
Episode 479 - Clint Knight, Cory Johnston and Ronnie Moore
Q: Cory, how do you balance winning and points protection as the season nears its end?
Johnston states he goes out to win every event and does not fish for points; he reflects on past tournaments where decisions affected the AOY race and emphasizes maintaining aggressive, winning-focused play while managing risk.
Episode 479 - Clint Knight, Cory Johnston and Ronnie Moore
Q: Clint, what was your key decision on Championship Friday that changed the outcome?
Knight explains he chose not to run straight to the dam right away due to earlier transducer issues and uncertainty, deciding to start at a familiar mile marker, which paid off with a strong early catch and boosted confidence.
Episode 475 - Drew Benton, Andrew Rickman and Davy Hite
Q: Davy, with Murray and Santee Cooper back-to-back, how do blueback herring patterns and drought conditions change the way anglers prep for these events?
Hite notes that blueback herring schools drive much of the bite on Murray and Santee Cooper, but drought lowers water levels and shifts fish deeper or to alternate banks; anglers must adapt by targeting the moving fish and adjusting patterns rather than relying on last-season spots.
