Absolutely love everything about this podcast!!! Willie and Basch provide very thoughtful and thorough analysis, and I look forward to every episode! In particular, their high school coverage is second to none! Highly recommend!!!
Listening to this guy talk technical wrestling is so tough. Willy makes this show worth listening to. But the other guy just brags about being friends with college kids as a grown man. Our sport definitely needs all the fans it can get, but is this really the guy we want to get our info from?
Thanks for the entertaining review. I think perhaps too much talk on Spencer changing clubs (just noise). The depth of 74 and Carr’s ability to score on the world’s best was super impressive. Dying to see these new guys rise in upcoming years.
Great guys, knowledgeable, well liked. Awesome when there’s 1 v 1 interviews and the guest gets their full attention. You can totally tell they are reading the comments or something. At times it sounds like they have some kind of disorder because they’re trying to read and talk at the same time. They consistently fade in and out. IMO they need to either have someone dedicated to the Chat, or just turn the chat off. Like what they’re doing. Just needs some refining.
Come to listen to Willie ramble all over the place about whatever catches his fancy. Stay to listen to Basch slobber about Penn St at every opportunity. Wish there were more wrestling options, but I’ll listen to this in the meantime.

The show centers on in-depth wrestling discussion, with frequent previews and recaps of college duels, rankings, and national championships. Episodes weave together analysis of top wrestlers, coaching strategies, officiating debates, and evolving dynamics across the college and high school landscape. A recurring strength is bringing guests from elite programs and notable coaches into fast-paced conversations, along with lively banter between hosts. The format tends to mix technical breakdown with personalities, making it appealing to serious wrestling fans who want both insight and accessible commentary. A notable edge is the blend of season-long strategic discussions (seedings, qualifiers, transfer portal trends) with timely event day anal... more
