  • Lay Out!

Show is cool. It was much better with Alan Hahn because he let the callers talk. Carlin doesn’t give the callers enough time to get their points off before he cuts them off or hangs up on them entirely. Lay out a little bit and let the callers get their 30 seconds

  • Best show on radio, terrestrial or otherwise

I loved Bart & Hahn, but I gotta say, Bart & Carlin is just as good, if not better. Bart remains the funniest guy on radio, the man with two first names. He’s got the hood creds, and I hope he never loses it, because he makes it funny even though he’s a rich boujee dude now. But he’s also super smart even though he plays it down. Because we know you can’t be funny unless you’re smart. And oh, he knows more football than anyone else on the air. As for Carlin, I remember him from the Canty show an... more

  • Love Bart, Carlin full of hot air

Carlin has no chemistry with Bart. Bart and Hahn was a far better show. Carlin is just full of hot air. I feel bad for Bart.

Extremely disappointed with the direction this show has gone.

  • Why aren’t the Bart & Carlin episodes updating?

Bart is the only person I listen to for football on NY sports radio, why isn’t the new podcast with Carlin updating???

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hour 3: Phil Simms & Bobby Marks Join the Show
Q: If you are the Jets, when you have kind of the almost embarrassment of riches that you do for next year with the three first round picks, does that make you more likely to kind of roll the dice in a scenario like this if you're somebody that's in charge in making these kind of decisions?
Phil Simms explains that with three first-round picks, the Jets can afford to take calculated risks on a quarterback like Brendan Sorsby, as the upside remains high and the franchise can absorb a misstep without catastrophic long-term impact, while still evaluating the quarterback in a structured way.
Hour 3: Tim Bontemps Preview the NBA Finals
Q: What have you made of Victor Wembanyama's comments and the upcoming series in terms of expectations?
Tim Bontemps emphasizes that Wembanyama represents a potential franchise-altering talent and that his current trajectory and skill set place him among the game's most unique players, with the Spurs facing a historic early test but possessing long-term upside.
Hour 2: Doris Burke Joins to Preview Knicks-Spurs Game 2
Q: How do you think Wembo checking Hart will influence the game and the Spurs' approach to offense?
Doris explains that Wembo's assignment affects spacing and drives the Knicks to vary their attack, while the Spurs must balance Wembo's pressure with ball movement to prevent stagnation.
Hour 2: Doris Burke Joins to Preview Knicks-Spurs Game 2
Q: Doris, with that in mind, what do you expect the biggest adjustment for the Spurs to make?
Doris discusses guarding Towns and defending Brunson, emphasizing the need for the Spurs to adjust on ball pressure, transition defense, and how Wembo should handle Brunson/Hart without getting out of balance.
Hour 2: Kendrick Perkins on the Knicks Success
Q: What is the biggest factor bringing the Knicks back to the conference finals?',
Perkins points to Towns and Brown's offense as the key, noting Towns' new role as a floor-generating playmaker and Brown's system unlocking that potential.
