  • Lay Out!

Show is cool. It was much better with Alan Hahn because he let the callers talk. Carlin doesn’t give the callers enough time to get their points off before he cuts them off or hangs up on them entirely. Lay out a little bit and let the callers get their 30 seconds

  • Best show on radio, terrestrial or otherwise

I loved Bart & Hahn, but I gotta say, Bart & Carlin is just as good, if not better. Bart remains the funniest guy on radio, the man with two first names. He’s got the hood creds, and I hope he never loses it, because he makes it funny even though he’s a rich boujee dude now. But he’s also super smart even though he plays it down. Because we know you can’t be funny unless you’re smart. And oh, he knows more football than anyone else on the air. As for Carlin, I remember him from the Canty show an... more

  • Love Bart, Carlin full of hot air

Carlin has no chemistry with Bart. Bart and Hahn was a far better show. Carlin is just full of hot air. I feel bad for Bart.

Extremely disappointed with the direction this show has gone.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hour 3: Jordan Reid on his Top NFL Draft Prospects
Q: Who is the best player in this draft, your number one prospect in the draft?
Jordan Reid identifies Jeremiah Love as his top player, followed by Caleb Downs, emphasizing Love's dynamic versatility and pro bowl potential over positional rankings.
Hour 2: Dexter Lawrence Impasse & Field Yates Joins
Q: What is the current status of the Dexter Lawrence contract negotiations?
The consensus is that there is an impasse; teams will test the trade market and may seek premium picks, but a deal hinges on balancing player value with cap implications and the Giants' willingness to move forward without him.
Hour 3: Phil Simms Spotlight: Top WRs & Pass Rushers
Q: Who are the top edge rushers and why is Aubrey Mezzador discussed with caution?
Simms discussed Arvel Reiss (Aubrey Reiss) and Mezzador, acknowledging Reiss's length and athleticism but questioning how quickly he can translate to NFL edge rushing; he compared Mezzador's late-season emergence and overall athleticism to potential pro success, stressing the need to see how they project against pro-level competition.
Hour 3: Phil Simms Spotlight: Top WRs & Pass Rushers
Q: Which receivers stand out in this draft class and why are blockers valued among receivers?
Simms highlighted Carnell Tate and several other receivers for their size and willingness to block, noting that blockers help unlock screens and quick-transition plays; he emphasized that the best receivers are those who contribute in multiple facets of the offense, including run-after-catch and downfield threat potential.
Hour 3: Phil Simms Spotlight: Top WRs & Pass Rushers
Q: What should the Jets do at the top of the draft in terms of offensive weapons and quarterback development?
Simms suggested evaluating the right mix of a high-upside quarterback with a solid supporting cast, emphasizing that coaching fit and a plan for development are crucial rather than chasing a single spectacular prospect; he also discussed Jeremiah Love as a potential Giants addition and how a balanced offense could benefit any young signal-caller.
