  • This is like, a really great podcast.

I love the way these two guys talk about games. Not hyping the new and giving me fomo, but talking about games I allready know and love, and if I dont know the games I’m gonna try them.

The only negative, and I dont hope that this will mess with peoples brains, especially Robbys, is the amount of times that Robby says “like”.

It’s not that the word annoys me, but i’m often counting the words instead of listening to what Robby is saying.

    It’s sometimes 3-4 times in 1 sentence…

  • A great place to learn about building a game library

Too many podcasts about the table top board gaming hobby are about changing the latest craze. Not do with the “Bards”. Here, the team has made a conscious decision to focus on the games that people getting into the hobby would most need to know.

For people for have been gaming for a while, it provides an opportunity to think about games we maybe haven’t touched for a few years, or games we just missed.

The review rating is novel, appropriate, and delicious. It’s based on types of cookies.

  • I have a running list

Found these guy through foundation podcasts. I drive for work and only listen and even then they explain things extremely well to where I know if I want to try to scoop the game or not especially since I’m a theme guy as well and won’t do certain themes. They do a mix of everything which is nice that brought me to why I have a running list of games that I want to buy or at least consider it. Any time they even mention a game from the “games we recently played” or a game “this game is like” segme... more
