  • Raw & Accurate Analysis & Great Enthusiasm

These guys have become the voice for Cricketing Analysis for me, and as a die hard Cricket fan it’s tough to find unbiased and raw analysis of the game we hold so dear to hearts!

I recommend this to anyone who loves the game of Cricket and they also have a Patreon channel where they’ve been building a community of people who are just die hard cricketing fans and it has been so refreshing devoid of any toxicity. I love it, and I’m confident you will too!

  • Highly recommend

Great objective insight and analysis. I’ve been looking for a Pakistani cricket analysis that was level-headed and fair, without the sensationalism and this is it.

How Data Is Changing Modern Cricket ft. James Maby (PSL, MLC, The 100)
Q: What happens in the day-to-day life of a performance analyst in franchise cricket?
A typical week involves nets, coaching chats, and close collaboration with bowlers and captains, followed by preparing and sending out data packs ahead of games, tailoring insights to individual players, and attending strategy meetings to discuss matchups, field plans, and in-game adjustments.
How Data Is Changing Modern Cricket ft. James Maby (PSL, MLC, The 100)
Q: What was it like building a team for the auction and preparing for it with data?
The process involved creating depth charts for roles, assessing AVR-style metrics, and using data to identify which players best fit specific roles (power play, death, spin, overseas all-rounders). Auctions required budgeting, contingency planning, and adapting to signings based on what data suggested about a player's fit, with a strong emphasis on context and field roles.
