Incredibly cozy podcast about restarting a family farm and reconnecting with roots.
Everything Definitely Human do is brilliant, and this is no different, despite its different subject matter. Good wholesome listening. Charlie’s mum is particularly awesome :)
I’m a Definitely Human fan anyway and I always love checking out any new podcasts you lot make, but Back to Earth especially is right up my alley. It’s reminiscent of Clarkson’s Farm but more genuine, and I’m basically aching with jealousy that I’m not in Devon right now on my own farm…
Especially fond of the chicken updates, and Charlie’s mum is a star!
I just love how informative, real and natural each episode is, it really makes you feel you were there, back to earth with them. It’s peaceful and absolutely delightful to listen to. It’s like you got hooked on a book and can’t wait to find out what it brings in the next chapter. Highly recommend!
Let Charlie May's energy and enthusiasm guide you over the rolling hills of Devon as she gets reacquainted with the farm life, and makes big plans for the future of her family farm. Featuring delightful bonus appearances including Charlie's Mum, and loyal Definitely Human employee Matthew Woodcock.
I have really enjoyed this podcast not only for its unique messaging and bold statement that “going back to the roots” can very exciting too but especially for how well it is cut, edited and curated together. There are many podcasts out there that state “the spontaneous chatting” but you can tell Charlie
Just the thing you’re looking for if you want a real life story about wonderful people to root (heh) for. It’s beatifically produced and the story is one that sticks with you. Always looking forward to the next episode!
Totally addicted and can’t wait for next episode 👀
This podcast brought me back to life, cured my acne, cleared my debts and titillated my tastebuds.
Having left the London life myself - for Taiwan - which actually as a country I’d say is countryside, I feel embellished by this nostalgic time I spent in my loving UK.
Great work guys!
This is one brilliant podcast that is captured so well by Charlie and David. Love the risk they have taken to go back to there roots. I really enjoy that we can follow this life changing journey with them. It truly captures the farm life and all the wonderful people in it. Superb!!
Super talented Charlie May’s newest podcast about her life transition from London fashion designer to farming in Devon is extra lovely and relatable! Now I know her on the next level, what can’t she do?! I can listen to her all day honestly. Highly recommend!
Very comfy podcast following a fashion designer learning to farm. Lovely to listen to and very informative!
