其實，孩子的情緒控制與習慣養成，從出生六個月到兩歲就是關鍵期。三歲後情緒敏感度逐漸下降，五歲後發展趨於平穩。因此，父母的日常示範與陪伴非常重要。幼兒透過模仿學習，而語言則是表達情緒的重要工具。
透過 親子共讀、故事討論與安全的家庭環境，孩子可以慢慢學會說出自己的感受，而不是只用哭鬧來表達。

在這一集節目中，洪蘭老師分享了一個簡單卻重要的觀點：智力其實是「適應新環境的能力」。它並不是一成不變，而是基因與環境互相影響的結果。
研究中的 「弗林效應（Flynn Effect）」 也指出，在過去一百年裡，人類的智力測驗平均每十年提升約3分，顯示教育與環境刺激對智力發展有很大的影響力 📈

孩子每天拖拖拉拉寫功課，你會怎麼做？
是催促他一定要做完，還是讓他先休息、睡一覺再說呢？🤔
洪蘭老師提醒，做事要有原則，也要懂得變通。當孩子已經很疲倦時，如果強迫他繼續寫功課，不但效率低，還容易出錯。因為到了晚上，大腦會分泌 褪黑激素，神經傳導物質也逐漸消耗，學習效率自然下降。相反地，若先好好睡一覺，隔天再完成作業，反而更有效率。
