Show made by wokesters and ex-hippies. Listen to Autoline Daily for the same news without the bad flavor. Episode from Sep 6th, 2025 was the final straw for me. Love or hate Musk as much as you want, but to argue that a 1/8 compensation package for VALUE CREATION in new value as somehow “criminal” shows the commie flag flying hard. The covetousness & envy is disgusting. Then the idea that UNREALIZED capital gains should be taxed in an off hand comment continues the narrative of economic illitera... more
The overall content can be presented in lesser time, and better structured. Conversations. Feels dragged. Also scope can cover more with global focus than just around US.
I force myself to listen because the content is timely and valuable, but the “read the news” format is really hard to stay focused on. I end up having to rewind often as my mind drifts. Would be so so much better if it used a typical podcast conversational style. My preference would be that they trash the script and speak from bullet points.
If you like the delivery style of NPR radio you’ll love Automotive News Daily Drive. The delivery style of a librarian telling you what happened in the auto industry. Very little opinion and analysis and what they do offer is so vanilla as to never offend OEMs. If you want more interesting daily auto news with actual opinion and analysis try Autoline Daily.
