I force myself to listen because the content is timely and valuable, but the “read the news” format is really hard to stay focused on. I end up having to rewind often as my mind drifts. Would be so so much better if it used a typical podcast conversational style. My preference would be that they trash the script and speak from bullet points.
If you like the delivery style of NPR radio you’ll love Automotive News Daily Drive. The delivery style of a librarian telling you what happened in the auto industry. Very little opinion and analysis and what they do offer is so vanilla as to never offend OEMs. If you want more interesting daily auto news with actual opinion and analysis try Autoline Daily.
It was fine, but now all it does is push electric vehicles and most of the news is electric centered. Pushing tailpipe emissions without disclosing the negative environmental harm electric batteries and their manufacturing process creates.
Super informative
If you are a fan of the auto industry, this Podcast is probably for you. I enjoy the quick briefs about the happenings in the industry and the second-half interviews with leaders in the industry are usually interesting. My biggest gripe is that for a year a lengthy ad for their Driving to Zero sister Podcast series runs in the middle of every episode. Enough already...those who want to check out this Podcast would have already done so. Also, the commercial is already out of touch. Manufacturers ... more
