  • Anxiety Inducing 80s Intro Music

I’m new to this show since it was merged with KUT News Now. I won’t be listening to it since I can’t get past the awful anxiety inducing intro music that sounds like an 80s hairband wrote for a crime show. Please. This is Austin. You can do better.

Q: What can you tell us about the new album Fondness, et cetera and how your life as a father influenced it?
Shakey Graves explains that the record grew out of his experiences at home, with time rearranged by fatherhood, leading to quieter, more intimate songs rather than a grand, noisy rock sound.
New film ‘STAGES’ brings iconic Austin venues to the big screen
Q: How long have you known David, and was this project made specifically with him in mind?
The director and David Ramirez had known each other for over a decade, and the project was built with David in mind from the start, evolving from earlier collaborations into the feature film.

Q: What is the process AISD is considering for the three middle schools in question?

Paxton targets Austin ISD over alleged ‘bathroom bill’ violation
Q: What exactly is the alleged violation in AISD under Senate Bill 8?

More background on Buford’s shooting suspect released
Q: So in your story, you found that court records from Bexar County showed a possible history of domestic violence from the alleged shooter. Can you tell us more about that?
The records show a 2022 divorce with a finding of a history or pattern of family violence, which led to sole custody arrangements, signaling safety concerns even as visitation was supervised. This context helps explain why questions about firearm access arise, though civil findings don't automatically bar ownership unless coupled with other legal actions like a domestic violence protective order.
