What a helpful podcast. Colleen has a wealth of knowledge and she is so generous to share with us. I love the seasonal garden tasks!
Since taking a class from Colleen at the Wildflower Center a couple years ago, I have been using her three Zines as my gardening “Bible” for plant maintenance! Also her former and newest podcast is so extremely helpful! I appreciate her sharing her wisdom so much and would love to show her how I’ve converted about half of my large lawn to native plants or hardscape! Let’s save water! Let’s save the pollinators!
Yes, you can pull information off printed materials and talking to people and listening to the radio shows; however, this podcast tells you what to do now and why. There’s also an excellent connection to resources and groups here in Austin that can support you being more in touch with our land and plants here in Austin.
So happy that Colleen is bringing her extensive central Texas gardening knowledge and experience to the podcast space! Whether you’re a new or experienced gardener, Colleen has some great wisdom and is a wonderful gardening teacher. Can’t wait for future episodes!
I love listening to everything Colleen releases! She is a true subject matter expert when it comes to so many aspects of gardening in Central Texas and she presents it in such an easy-to-understand manner. Whether you are a newbie or a lifelong gardener, Colleen will have something new to teach you!
