NFL preseason line movement is under the microscope after a wild stretch of results: teams that have moved 1.5+ points or more on the spread this season are 0-8, and 23-51 since 2024, according to Big Al McMordie's numbers. That trend has reignited a... more

  • Off = good, Back = bad

Circles Off is must listen and have tuned in to every episode since inception.

Circle Back is shock jock clickbait.

I understand as bettors that have lost their edge the guys need to find another source of income and ATTENTION and CONTROVERSY sell, but the shows should really be decoupled. One is the most insightful and educational content there is while the other isn’t far from Stephen A Smith/Skip Bayless/Clay Travis fake outrage.

  • It’s over

It’s time to say goodbye to this show. Highly recommend the earlier episodes from a few years back, as it used to be one of my favorite podcasts. I know there’s only so much evergreen content and interviews you can do, so I get the pivot but this is just brutal. It’s gossip about scamming bettors on twitter 90% of the time. And they talk about stuff where it’s obvious what the right answer is. And most of the hosts are arrogant nerds with speech impediments and no charisma, which certainly doesn... more

  • Awesome show!

I came here from the Bettor Life 2.0, got tired listening to Eric about how much time he spends at casinos and away from his kids. After Eric’s affair on his wife, I had to find a new podcast. Keep up the good work, excellent podcast!

  • Tim Donaghy not Donahue

How can we take these guys seriously about the big stuff if they don’t bother getting the smallest and easiest stuff right? One Google search was too much for them before pressing record, so they confidently say “Tim Donahue” over and over with no concern that they’re revealing themselves as half-informed and lazy.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Sharp Bettor From Netflix's New Documentary Tells All | Presented by ProphetX
Q: How did you react to the trailer and the portrayal of Winnable and other participants?
I suspected rage bait and editorial choices wouldn't reflect actual winners; I also thought the trailer could mislead viewers about who actually wins and loses in these markets, which was a core concern I carried into the interview.
The Sharp Bettor From Netflix's New Documentary Tells All | Presented by ProphetX
Q: So Isaac, what did you first hear about this documentary?
A friend involved with the project connected me with the producers, I spoke briefly, and then we planned more filming; I was pulled in because they wanted a sharp perspective who could discuss both trading and policy, but the final cut didn't include much of the policy discussion.
Fixed Fights, Stiffed Partners, and a Decade of Sharp MMA Betting | Presented by ProphetX
Q: Where does your edge come from today in terms of betting MMA, and does that differ from when you started?
Today the guest emphasizes that his edge remains rooted in a strong wrestling-based understanding of grappling and transitions, but he also stresses adapting to market dynamics, timing, and CLV, with a gradual incorporation of modeling as a supplementary reference rather than a sole driver.
The Most Interesting Sports Bettor You’ve Never Heard Of | Presented by ProphetX
Q: What are your aspirations as a sports bettor and how do you view going full time?
He views himself as semi-pro, aiming to optimize his edge while maintaining flexibility with his day job, and weighing the financial and lifestyle implications before deciding whether to pursue full-time betting.
The Most Interesting Sports Bettor You’ve Never Heard Of | Presented by ProphetX
Q: Who is Thon Misser? Give them a quick background, 30 to 60 seconds here on what they need to know about you.
Thon describes his background as a Milwaukee Bucks fan who turned to betting in 2021 after experimenting with various markets, gradually building an edge through early betting and model iteration while balancing a day job.
