  • Awesome show!

I came here from the Bettor Life 2.0, got tired listening to Eric about how much time he spends at casinos and away from his kids. After Eric’s affair on his wife, I had to find a new podcast. Keep up the good work, excellent podcast!

  • Tim Donaghy not Donahue

How can we take these guys seriously about the big stuff if they don’t bother getting the smallest and easiest stuff right? One Google search was too much for them before pressing record, so they confidently say “Tim Donahue” over and over with no concern that they’re revealing themselves as half-informed and lazy.

This pod has completely tanked with bad takes, girl gossip, and barely any sports respect. I’ll give Forward Progress a shot

  • No longer worth listening to

One of the host believes in dice setting. This show is a faint shadow of what it used to be.

10 Questions AI Says Every Smart Sports Bettor Should Understand
Q: Question number ten, if everyone had the same model, who would win?
Execution and access would differentiate winners; those who can bet earlier, have better accounts, and act fastest would have the edge even with identical models.
10 Questions AI Says Every Smart Sports Bettor Should Understand
Q: Question number nine, is it harder to become a winning bettor or to stay a winning bettor?
Staying a winner and scaling up is harder due to the need for ongoing adaptation, discipline, and higher volumes without burning out; becoming profitable is easier with the right approach.
10 Questions AI Says Every Smart Sports Bettor Should Understand
Q: Question number eight, what market is most likely to be inefficient over the next three years?
Markets with low liquidity, low data availability, and new or evolving leagues are more prone to inefficiencies as bookmakers constrain limits and resources.
10 Questions AI Says Every Smart Sports Bettor Should Understand
Q: Question number seven, what's a sign that your edge is quietly disappearing?
A shrinking CLV or not understanding why prices move in a way that contradicts your model are strong indicators that your edge is fading and the market is catching up.
10 Questions AI Says Every Smart Sports Bettor Should Understand
Q: Question number six, if sportsbooks limited nobody, would most winners still win?
Most winners would not continue at the same pace without limits; limits shape profitability and the ability to scale bets, so eliminating limits would reduce the number of people who profit over time.
