Perfect, chill and cinephile pod. Very educational (even if you know a lot about asian Cinema).
Timestamps is the only thing I am missing.
I saw this film called ‘The assassin’ (2015). I did not quite get it and went through a couple of reviews and this podcast. One of the reviewer had some knowledge or experience with Asian films. And this snob took so much pleasure in the fact that he got it and for others it could be difficult. So instead of discussing the film he kept on saying that the film was impenetrable, over and over.
Asian Cinema Film Club always pick great choices and their presentation is second to none. If you live Asian Cinema you owe it to yourself to follow this Podcast!
