This is a really great series, focused on all the nerdy nuts and bolts of trying to have a career as an artist. But from a host who has a sense of humor and deep industry knowledge.
While Paddy’s podcast is always informative, I want to say, having just been diagnosed with breast cancer, the cancer episode was especially timely and supportive. Best take away quote, “Mychart is now my new social media.” Recommend this podcast and episode.
Mostly what this seems to be about. The directness and honesty are good, but if residencies are not your jam it gets tiresome. A broader scope would be helpful.
Just listened to several episodes and learned so much about residencies, grants, the benefits of networking just within these episodes. Really appreciate what Paddy is doing with Netvvrk.
This podcast is really good! I’m impressed by the level of helpful, knowledgeable advice offered. Paddy really understands the problems so many artists face, and addresses them with clarity and confidence. Thank you Paddy!
