Loved this! Have been deep on the Beatles over the years and have recently discovered The Beach Boys post Pet Sounds work. This was such and enjoyable way to dive into both of their discographies!
Thanks for the great work!
What a great time listening to Dave and his son, Jackson, compare and contrast The Beach Boys albums to The Beatles albums. They tell the story behind each song and do a great job of transporting the listener back to the time the albums were released. Such a fun ride, I learned so much! I particularly enjoyed the team effort of a father and son working on this great project!

Surely You Can't Be Serious Podcast
Hey guys! I am totally enjoying this and am learning as we go! Keep up the good work!
But mediocre audio quality. Dave sounds like he is in an empty garage on a speaker phone. Jackson slurs his speech fairly often.
I enjoyed episode 1 very much and look forward to the rest of the series. This is a great concept for a show and I look forward to each match up. I think both bands got better later in the decade so I can’t wait to see which album takes on Pet Sounds.
