History class just got hilariously inappropriate. Kristin Caruso, co-host of the true crime comedy podcast, Let’s Go To Court (16M+ downloads), and Norman Caruso, creator of the Gaming Historian YouTube channel (1M+ subscribers), team up to deliver a history podcast that is well researched, wide-ranging, and deeply silly. In other words, this is a podcast for intellectuals. Intellectuals who m... more

I laugh out loud every time I listen. It’s so nice to learn some history and have fun at the same time.
Came here as a fan of the old rotting decrepit podcast who had previously only listened to true crime podcasts. However, knowing how funny these two are I had to give a try. Every week they take a topic I knew little to nothing about and keep me hooked from beginning to end. Maybe if these two were my history teachers I would have done better in school 😅
Thanks so much for being such a bright spot in the world.
I previously belonged to the church of History Humbug but thanks to an Old Timey Podcast I have converted to a History Ho and my life is forever changed for the better.
I found history to be the most boring topic all throughout my education and avoided history classes when I could. If only educators knew how to present history topics in a funny and incredibly well-researched manner like Kristin and Norm do on this podcast!
They have covered so many things I’ve never heard of and their deep dives really make you feel for the people throughout history that were affected by such events. At times you will laugh at the silliness of our history, at times you will c... more
I loved Kristin’s old podcast, but this one is even better. I’ve been listening since the beginning. The topics are so interesting and well researched. I always learn something new and fascinating and along the way I get a few laughs! I hope someday soon they will do live shows and visit my city!! I’ll be waiting to buy that front row ticket!
