Kristin Caruso, co-host of the true crime comedy podcast, Let’s Go To Court (16M+ downloads), and Norman Caruso, creator of the Gaming Historian YouTube channel (1M+ subscribers), team up to deliver a history podcast that is well researched, wide-ranging, and deeply silly. In other words, this is a podcast for intellectuals. Intellectuals who m... more

  • My favorite History Podcast

I have been binging this since Norm did his last Gaming Historian update. I love their chemistry as a couple and their humor. I finally am listening to the very first episode and they mention Elijah Lovejoy who is a distant relative of mine. I must recommend a series on him his story is wild and inspired several people including John Brown, Harriet Beecher Stowe and even Abraham Lincoln.

  • More like an Old Timey betrayal

This was my 103rd time listening. After the commercials the cohosts promised me a spanking for not signing up for Patreon WELL I DIDN’T GET ONE. There I was patiently waiting and nothing.

I’ve decided to forgive and forget and go ahead and sign up for their Patreon since the punishments for not are frankly lacking, but mostly because of the wonderful hosts and their storytelling.

Genuinely this is a wonderful podcast hosted by funny and kind people. I absolutely recommend giving them a listen!... more

  • How a Prolific Black Inventor Hid His Race

This was my FIRST time listening to this podcast. After the commercials, the co-host chastised the audience about not subscribing to Patreon with unfunny spanking threats. When the podcast FINALLY got started it was silly and incoherent with middle school jokes about turds. I hope the co-hosts enjoyed this foolishness. I’m never listening to this podcast again.
