TJ - read your transcripts; there are times in one small paragraph you use Robes 4 times. It’s being used as a filler and if you were listening to someone use “um” like you do “Robes”, you’d lose your mind. Challenge yourself to not use it! Amy doesn’t address you (thankfully) by your name every other word.
Hello. Love listening to your show; however, I must say that chronic veinous insufficiency can happen to any age. I’m 54 years old and was recently diagnosed with it. My symptoms started after having COVID. It hasn’t affected my cognitive function. So this is not something that should be discussed unless you have a medical background or experience with it.
I’ve been an avid listener of the show from the beginning. I loved hearing about your triumph over getting the ax at GMA and how your relationship was made stronger. I enjoyed hearing about your relationship with each other’s family. I was excited to see that you have almost quadrupled the number of episodes you did in the beginning however, the quality and subject matter of the episodes are not for me. The show is sounding more like TMZ. You should narrow your focus instead of trying to be eve... more
I never got the full story of this disaster, but as the intro was getting to the eventual episode, I just thought, well, you know as they say, ‘ the show must go on !!’. Two veteran broadcast journalists tackle current events, politics, media, and culture with a candid, conversational tone. Episodes regularly cover breaking headlines, media ethics, and high-profile interviews, often weaving in sharp analysis, personal anecdotes, and occasional pop culture takes. Notable strengths include decades of newsroom experience, a direct hosting dynamic, and a willingness to address controversial topics head-on. A few recurring production complaints about sound levels and on-air habits are also common in listener feedback, but the show maintains a steady cadence of timely updates and thoughtful commentary that appeals to news/policy-minded audiences who appreciate clear perspectives and authentic storytelling.
